Payments, refunds and cancellations

How payment works
Once you approve a quote, you pay a deposit through fixNgo. For jobs under ₦20,000 the full amount is paid upfront. Work begins only after your payment is confirmed. The balance is due when the work is completed.
Who you are paying
Payments are collected by 1 Treeshake, the company behind fixNgo. A commission is deducted from each job, and the balance is paid to the partner once the work is confirmed complete.
Cancelling before you approve a quote
You can cancel free of charge at any point before you approve a quote. Nothing is charged until a quote is approved and paid.
Cancelling after you have paid
Contact us before the partner begins work. Refunds are assessed case by case — where work has already started or materials have been bought, those costs may be deducted. Approved refunds are returned to the account you paid from.
If the work is not what was quoted
Raise it with us instead of confirming completion. Funds are not released to the partner until you confirm the job is done, so there is time to review before any money moves.
Any extra cost needs a new approval
Partners cannot add charges to an approved quote. Additional work is submitted as a new request, which you are free to reject, so the price you agreed is the price you pay.
